Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones, teeth, cartilage, skin and blood vessels. Calcium ascorbate combines ascorbic acid with mineral calcium and may be beneficial for people who are severely ill.

Vitamin C (as Calcium Ascorbate) 1,800mg (2250% RDA), Calcium (from Calcium Ascorbate) 200mg (25% RDA).

2-4g per day. Not suitable for children under 5 years old. Caution: Prolonged use of high doses of Vitamin C can increase excretion of some minerals and is not advised - reduce dosage if diarrhoea occurs. Ascorbic acid can often be too acidic to be tolerated by people with sensitive stomachs. May have a mild laxative effect.
