Rio Amazon Yerba Mate tea is a green tea with naturally-occurring caffeine. Mate (pronounced ‘ma-tay’) is brewed from the leaves and stem of the Ilex paraguariensis tree. Taste is green, grassy and herbaceous with a slightly smoky flavour.

Finely-cut Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguariensis) leaf. Contains naturally-occurring caffeine.

Infuse 1 teabag in hot water just off the boil (60-65 °C). Leave for a minimum of 5 minutes. Drink and enjoy.
