Epigenar Organic Ginger 50ml

Ginger (Zingiber officinalis) is a well-known, versatile and much used rhizome (root) with a zesty, peppery flavour and many health benefits.  Its use is mentioned in many ancient texts: Chinese, Arabic, Sanskrit, Roman and Greek.

Active constituents include volatile oils (which contribute also to distinct aroma and taste), gingerols (major component of fresh ginger) and shogaols (predominant pungent constituent in dried ginger).

Purified water (Aqua purificata) Alcohol*, Ginger* (Zingiber officinalis) *organic

The recommended daily dose (45 drops) contains: 2-3ml water-alcohol extract from 200-300mg dried Ginger (root)

15 (max 20) drops 3 times daily in a small amount of water. Maximum 60 drops per day, unless otherwise advised. For children aged 4-15, 3 times daily, give one drop per number of years of age. Shake before use. A slight opacification (cloudiness) doesn’t influence the quality.

CAUTION: No known major interactions. Theoretically may have additive effect re some pharmaceuticals.

SIDE EFFECTS: Generally well-tolerated at recommended dosage.

PREGNANCY: Not suitable for pregnant and lactating women. Ginger has shown anti-emetic properties, however its use has also associated with negative pregnancy outcomes.  The potential benefit to risk must be weighed.
