Gentian is also known as Bitter Root or Bitter Wort and has been traditionally used in Europe for over 2,000 years. It naturally contains bitter compounds such as gentiopicrin and amarogentin, which are associated with its traditional use for digestion and bile flow.

How to Use
  • Adults 16+ years: Take 15–20 drops, 3 times daily in a small amount of water, unless otherwise advised by your practitioner.
  • Maximum: 60 drops per day.
  • Shake before use. A slight cloudiness does not affect the quality.
  • Child use: For child dosage, consult your practitioner.
Cautions
  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Not suitable for those with peptic ulcers.
  • Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have low blood pressure, are taking blood pressure medication, taking medication with a hypotensive effect, or are due to have surgery.
  • Discontinue use 2 weeks before, during and immediately after surgery.
